It's cold and wet today
The rain has finally come this way
Trees' leafy arms had been begging
With gladness they thank God for the pouring
The grass is green and growing
So fast it almost beat thunder and lightning
How did it grow that fast
To the winter will it last
When it gets to cold out there
It will again start to wither
Surely the rain does a lot of magic
To living things it does the trick
